The Best Ways To Make Your Wedding Memorable

By Nancy Gardner

Everybody wants a memorable wedding. After the emotional exchanging of vows and after the ceremony, it is time to get started, drinks, food, games and dancing. Since it is your big day, make sure that you and the guests are having so much fun in your wedding.

A tedious wedding is not what every couple wants. Of course, you want to make it memorable, by not spending too much cost, but to make everyone happy and entertained. Today, there are couples who want to concentrate on new things which can incorporate entertainment to their wedding reception like playing games.

Start the celebration with a dance. While principal and secondary sponsors enter the reception, the host will then request them to keep on dancing and jive to the song. They are called as the dancing entourage. It is funny in the sense that not everyone can't dance and has no passion for dancing, while others are trying their best to move their hips just to pleasure everyone.

When it is already the turn of the couples, make sure to surprise your guests. You can surprise them with either a song or a dance number. This is very surprising on the part of the family especially if it is their first time to hear you sing or groove to the music. You can request them to stand up and groove to the beat of the music. Indeed, it is fun.

There are already many ways to toss the garter. You may prefer to play a game. The host will request to gather all single men in front. Place bottled soft drinks in front of them and put a long straw. The first one who can consume the drinks wins the garter. On the other side, you can also play a shoe game wherein single men are requested to remove either the shoe or right shoe and put it on the box. The shoe that will be chosen wins the garter.

When it comes to the bouquet tossing, forget that typical way of passing the bouquet to a single lady. Instead, play a nice game. This is called the banana game. Gather all single ladies in front but the relatives of the man who won the garter are excepted. That's a good thing. The guy will will sit on a chair with his hands on the back and put the banana between his legs.

Music will then be played and ladies are requested to dance while the music is on. When the music stops, ladies will grab the banana. The one who grabs it first will then be excepted and out of the game. The rest will continue and the one remains will be the next bride and wins the bouquet.

Since, a single lady and single man are now chosen, they now play another game called, do what I do. This means, no matter what the couples are doing they will also perform it. For example, if the couple kissed each other, the partners will also kiss each other.

Usually, the party ends with a colorful fireworks in the sky, but to make it more memorable, why not present a dance number with your spouse. This is more exciting on your part and to your guests. You can perform with the beat of a reggae song, a salsa, rumba and the best one is the hip hop remix.
